Just bought and have 15 more reefers on order for way less than that (before unit cost)

Great Danes. One of my O/O's just picked up a new trailer with a 7500X4 for 75K. SS front, SS quilted doors, 5 lite, all aluminum rims. Someone backed out of a 50 trailer order, he took one and i took one.

No skirts? I’d say no more then 32k normally. It’s a horrible deal but I guess all relative to how bad you need it?

    feldsforever and Crassius Thank this.

Can't imagine needing one so bad that i'd pay anywhere near that. If that's the price from a dealer they're just ripping you off.

Yeah for sure. That’s getting to the point I’d let one of my 2021’s go and they are spec’d to the max. I’ll even deliver it to terry haute! lol.

These three reefers I just got were around 43,500 to 44,500 I can’t remember. High spec overall, no front stainless. I picked them up from factory 2 months ago but then had to wait two months for units from TK. S600 chrome grill and lights, telematics with solar, etc... 30,500. So came out pretty good. Spent a ton of money renting though waiting on everything to get in and done. Better then waiting a year though. It was worth piecing these together.

Sounds like if vans aren’t 55k then these reefers should be 120k! Smh.

Decent spec'd reefer are still in the low/mid 40's, even 23's next year. Only thing is you have to order more than you want to get how many you really want. Same as trucks for next year.
Haven't had a problem for units here, TK or Carrier. The dealers here keep some back for those of us around here.
