That’s an asinine price but it’s all about supply and demand right now. I’ll be selling a 2021 Great Dane CP with aluminum wheels, skirts and scale when the next batch comes in in September simply because he told me he can sell it for more than the new higher specs one will be.

I have more ordered coming in over the next year, otherwise I wouldn’t even think about selling it.

I think you should buy it! Then I can buy it for $20K at your bankruptcy sale next year. But seriously, Much better deals on the used market, shop around.

Do you find it's a better deal to order the trailer without the unit and have a local place install the unit?

    Crassius Thanks this.

Used market is very crazy right now. They are selling six year old trailers with 11,000 hours for $60,000. I went ahead and bought new. Wasn’t interested in buying a worn trailer for 60 K..

Depends on the relationship. The dealer here will ask TK/Carrier what my price for the unit is.

I know you didn’t ask me but that’s what I did and will always do it like that from here out. Saved roughly $6,000 per trailer and also got some cool sensors that work with Trac King. Working directly with TK I learned a lot about what they actually have to offer.

Good info and thanks for the reply. It didn't really matter to me who answered. Lol. Did you still finance it all as a package deal or pay cash for the unit?

    Midwest Trucker Thanks this.
