The first time got on fire the truck was idled, 2nd time was off for around 2+ hrs, replaced the hose and add a ground from the block to the frame. The day after after driving 150 miles the batteries discharged while I was driving I could stop on the side of the road and noticed that the power steering hose was almost cooked (ready to get on fire). Take the ground off the engine block and replaced the hose. Any idea what is causing that issue? Added a pick of the last hose

Find out if there are any recalls or service bulletins related to the steering for your truck. -
I saw one hot enough to be smoking….Deere hunter and JB7 Thank this. -
You added an additional ground with no effect. Doubting it was acting as a ground. I would focus the troubleshooting on the power steering system first based off that.
Concorde Thanks this.
