21 International LT day cab passenger mirror issue

    One of our trucks is a 2021 International LT day cab and I’m having an issue with the passenger side mirror only. The large mirror on top isn’t moving with the mirror switch. Also, the lower mirror has a red arrow that normally blinks a red LED light in it when the right side blinker is on, but that doesn’t blink at all either regardless if the hazards or right blinker is on. Anybody dealt with this yet? @Heavyd Any input is appreciated.

    The wiring likes to rub through on the mirror arm itself. There is plastic cover piece at the bottom of the horizontal part of the mirror arm and can be removed by unscrewing a couple small torx head screws and that will open up the under side and you will see the wiring harness. Check it for rubbed spots and green corrosion.

    Yup, @Heavyd hit the nail right on the head. The harness was rubbing through causing a short.
