1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

well when i started school i was still only 21, ran into many walls when applying at companies cause i was not 22 or 23 or 25, and its the company that says no, its the insurance companies that say no.
i found a company, it was a smaller one, that gladly took me on,
Watkins Shepard Trucking out of Missoula Mt.
you should check them out, great company, and better then starting at swift or werner or c.r england
and the have full condo's, plenty of space to breath.

Yea CR England isnt the best one to go to but they will hire about anybody without experience just as long as you went to a school. My bro's with Werner doing Family Dollar dedicated, he seems to like it so far except you have to TOUCH the load and unload it urself and hes a lazy ######. But so far he's averaging $600.00 + a week which isnt great but with the economy how it is its not terrible. Swift I had a friend drive there and he didn't get enough miles and he said they DO NOT take care of the equipment. I drove for CRE and I would just recomment not to lease unless you want to team. If you want to team they are good to go to because they will get you the miles. When I teamed with them I averaged $1500.00+ a week but when I was solo I either owed $300.00 or made $100.00-600.00. And company driving for them just does not pay anything. Either way you go as a newbie unless you get lucky you will not get much money. If it was me i'd team with your dad if he still drives.
