dont turn down any loads
take it and ask for another
put in your two years.
while in two years of hell( talk to other companies, talk to owner operators)
get info about the industry so you have a good idea where to goto after your two years.
never ever sit at the coffee counter and add your two cents or believe anything that is said.
(no driver ever got a DOT fired)
(no driver ever had a super secret load with black helicopters following- that opened his mouth and talked about it)
(no millionaire is slumming it as a company driver)
be safe eat healthy
ask a quiet driver your questions and listen to what he says

.41 cpm is ok as long as there's plenty of miles and good accessorial pays.
If you're going with Schneider Bulk (tankers), you'll do fine, otherwise it's luck of the draw.
Go with the tanker division and you'll do just fine and make good money. Some of their tanker drivers that have a strong work ethic and do OTR are taking home over a thousand a week right out of school.austinmike and CP1995 Thank this. -

Good luck. Schneider bulk is a good starting point. You can definitely make good money. At least the couple of midwest guys I know, do well with Schneider.
