Bond not yet scheduled to be pulled, but we filed on it Friday 7/28/23 at 32 days. Yes, I know that's pretty early, but been ghosted for over 2 weeks now, no calls taken, or email returned..

Why? Stupid is as stupid does. If you're dumb enough to book from them that's good enough for you. I went out of business but in 13 years of being leased to somebody and booking brokered loads on my own I never once booked one that burned the company. Common sense ain't too common. Too many of these independent and leased drivers get hooked on the scam of some BS rate.

 

Oh, I was dealing with them in June for unpaid invoice from April. They ended up paying but it was sketchy ah. I sent them an email after multiple unanswered ones that non-payment claim will be made in 48h and they ended up paying, while also threatening me with a lawsuit for fake claim if I make it (like what?).

They still haven't responded to any of our email. Approaching 10 business day & still waiting for the bond company to respond also..

My ole Lady post a bad review on them in google. Yesterday a fella with a heavy indian accent called my cell. He Google me & found my number. Says he is waiting on a quick pay from them for 2 weeks now. I tried to walk him through how to file on thier bond, but not sure it all got across. Actually not even sure he can file till day 30.? Weird day..

 

You (or whoever) can file whenever feel like, if the contract was for a quick pay I would file the next day. I’ve done that before.

Bond company has acknowledged my claim, & says they are waiting for American Spirit to respond. Here we go!! Lol

 

Brokers can obtain a $75,000 bond for just a few hundred dollars. People file on their bond and get paid only if less than the $75,000 total between all claims. First come first serve then you are out of luck. Last I heard they had well over a 500 claims against their bond so not many will be paid. NEVER trust a broker. They could end up getting a new MC # and bond under a different name - no penalty and truckers have to suffer.
