What is the name of the mental thing where a person mentally makes themselves physically sick? Sir, you havent even gotten started and youre already stressing? Are you sure you want to truck? You do know that you will not be able to avoid confrontations, dont you? You will be in a ditch the first time someone cuts you off.
2200 miles a week as a newbie?

At some level I agree with the sentiment that stressing about living in a truck with your trainer is counterproductive, but perhaps reading into Redtwin's remarks some level of psychological disorder may tend to a bit much.
Look at your time in the truck with your trainer as boot camp, a necessary and temporary stage to earning your stripes. Don't approach it with foreboding or dread, notwithstanding the horror stories you read on the "absolute fount of truth" that is this forum...
Most importantly note that your time with your trainer is "on the JOB" training. It is a JOB. Be prepared to WORK. That means doing ALL aspects of the JOB, including DRIVING in all manner of conditions and situations. Use your time with your trainer to have him/her there in as wide a range of situations as possible. You don't want to be running as a new solo driver without having already run big mountain roads or tight urban streets or night driving in a rainstorm. -

For me, the money is more important than the miles. So I don't worry about the miles. I press potential employers on the money.
