    Its $9.90...

I had them fax me a copy also which added on $1.49

    So $11.39 out the door.

    Someone said it's like $10.
So, it is not much. I like to know things and how to do them.

I just paid mine and was into my files looking at some old 2290 receipts. On my form i didn't put a EIN number and someone wrote one for me on receiving it. Doubt if that would happen nowdays. Its the same number i still use, that was in 1985. Found one 2290 from 1984 and it was 210bucks then. So its due to rise above 550. Shhh don't tell them.

On another note. Figure i have sent over 20 grand to "them" on the 2290s. Plus all the license plate registration and federal excise tax on new tires. Matter a fact i do own this road. Lol. Well at least a small section.

Not to nitpick, but I'm 99% sure 2290 starts at 55,000lbs.
If it is 55,001lb, I definitely could use that 1 extra lb. LoL

The IRS changed the way they handle your money a few years ago if you sell a truck now you keep your 2290 and file a form to get pro/rated part of your 2290 on truck you sold and get back a part of 2290 back to use for new truck you buy,or keep the money if you did not get another truck.

2290, yeah, THAT was a surprise to a new O/O in 1988. "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS FOR NOW",,,I asked. I think we can thank the "ol' Gipper" for that, and Nancy's war on drugs. It was a wonderful time to give up a solid by the hour job to buy a truck,,,,
