    "2 years in jail for not breaking any laws? He was in an area where you can drive as fast as you want, as long as it was safe. Well, he did not cause a wreck, and he handled the car well and did not hit anyone or anything. Sounds safe to me! This man is innocent."

    No idea, and a great point. But the car culture is different. You are not allowed to work on your car. Its why the classic car hot rod culture is so expensive over there. Not for hobbyist. You need money to be a car enthusiasts.

    That car on the autobahn did not just get serviced at the Quick Lube up the street were your friends cousin works while you got a hair cut.
