1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Had the same problem with 12 year old non drug felonies.I finally hooked up with a farmer who owned 4 trucks. Now Im OTR in 40 states and loving it(well most of the time)My best advice to you is smaller mom and pop places,Be HONEST and relentlessly sell yourself when you can get someone to talk to you.NEVER give up.There is a job somewhere out there for you.

I say don't say a word about it. I had a felony in 98 when i was 18 and i've never said a word, and it's never come up. I've worked alot of company jobs before I bought my own rig and Ive never had an issue. Yeah, everyone on here gonna say if they catch you your fired....who cares? You arent driving now, what you got to lose?

ok. he's had his cdl since 07 and still hasnt found a job, he says due to saying he has a felony. I've been driving since 05 and never lost a job due to my having a felony and a company find out.he can be honest with everyone about everything and not work, or keep quiet and bring in a paycheck. me, i wanted the check.

Felony will show up on the Criminal Backgroung check part of your DAC.

Unless the Co. doesn't use DAC, they can still to a MVR and get do a background check.

If its expunged, Not sure if will show up that way, or if he will have to send off to each agency with proof.
