285/75r24.5- Why so TOUGH to mount??

    Smaller they are,the harder they are to change. I'd rather change a 18.4x38 rear tractor tire,than a wheelbarrow tire.

    Aside from brands some aluminum wheels also make tire changes difficult. If you get those two combined together it is very difficult. There are some new hand tools on the market the help.

    Use proper tire lube it'll be a lot easier, and if you use the paste that comes in the bucket you'll probably never use anything else again.

    I have used veggie oil for years and never a problem. Cheap and it works. I have used the high dollar paste and to say it works better, I didnt really notice.Dawn and water in a gallon jug with a 3/16" hole drilled in the cap to dismount. Makes the hammer bill slide right in. Everyone has their own way. Use what works.

    low pro's are slightly harder than 11r's to mount just less side wall flex due to the shorter sidewall. theres still not bad. try standing on the opposite side of the tire to help keep it as far into the drop center as you can.
