28' react alot faster than a long box when turning or backing. Tricky? No, but you'll need to adjust your approach compared to a long box.

Son, nothing could be easier. Trust me on this. :smt008

we used to pull doubles..takes some getting used to..like was mentioned, they re~act a heck of a lot faster..
Wargames Thanks this. -
i think its easier on tight spots. When you drive them all the time you like them
-
They tend to react faster, but you will love the fact that you can access almost every parking lot with them.
-
They react way faster, so just use less spin on your wheel and you will be fine. If your backing in a tight spot they are way easier. If you know how to drive they are way easier. If you try and back it and turn as much as you would for a 53, you will be fishtailing it back the whole way.

Not as fast as a 10 foot flat trailer that is so small you can not see it in your pickups mirrors unless it is ####ed 45 degrees. I had my friend stand on it so I could see how it was moving! Hehehee

I pull a pup 95% of the time and I love it. So easy
-
With a day cab they're not too bad. But with a sleeper you may find yourself having a bit of trouble.
I've found that difficulty in backing varies in direct proportion to the ratio of the length of the power unit vs the trailer, as Mikeee noted.
The worst, I think, are the tree crew boom trucks pulling wood chippers. By the time you see the chipper in either mirror it's too late.blairandgretchen Thanks this.
