I have a 2ws that was converted to a 40 pin many years ago in a 97 chassis. The truck feels under powered for a 475. On a hard pull it almost feels as if I am lifting off of the accelerator (based on exhaust tone). I would have a better idea if the truck had a boost guage. Any ideas where to start. I forgot to mention the truck has a new turbo - still had low power previous to the turbo

Was it a 475 before the ecm swap? Is the current ecm a 475? 2ws are basically an earlier 6nz pretty good motors for pulling. Your 2ws would be reading a different timing location than the 5ek or whatever 40 pin it was converted to unless it's just unhooked and reading off just crank. Any check engine lights?

Yes previous 475 - 475 ECM . The timing sensor was relocated correctly. It feels like it has low fuel psi . In my 6nz I will lose rpm on a pull but I hear the turbo spooling. On this truck I lose rpm but it sounds as if it is losing boost

If you don't have cat et handy, I would try to borrow a boost sensor from somebody and try it. Also just to rule out fuel, need to put a gauge on it and test drive not just at idle and high rpm. Cat has a shim kit for the transfer pump. I wouldn't rule out scored or clogged injector(s).
