I trashed a car with a lane change once in DC. That cost me 3 years hireability in large truck companies. As a work around I ran a gas station and then got into dump truck work for a few years bypassing DAC etc until enough life time went by to drop that mess off the record.

That is my expeirence and if I did it, you can do it too. It might require some time off the road until your record cools off. Indiana does not seem to be that nice for you. Consider moving else where to where things might be quieter for you.

Wade68, Heathar and DoubleO7 Thank this.

Well my words of wisdom to a younger rookie,
Learn from your mistakes, & keep learning, do what your supposed to. Listen to the vets, don't argue, just shut up and listen. PAY ATTENTION!! & CYA!! Keep it on all wheels!! & congratulations

I was being more of a smart ### saying it, I just don't get the chance to, pass on "my words of wisdom".. good days & bad days, everyone has them.. I'm just stuck on "if you feel you have stopped learning, get off the road" I can only strive to be as best as I can be from the day before. I love trucking, not have to deal with someone always being around..
