I'll tell you for a fact that you cant make it with a 3 car wedge in Florida.

If you want to run over the road you might have a fighting chance, but the living in the back seat for weeks on end sucks.

Also your dui is going to put your insurance through the roof, if you can even get insured....

Sorry you dont like the facts, just dont say we didn't tell ya.

    Speedloader Thanks this.

Wow! You come on a forum and ask a question and advise only to try and talk smack???
I do believe you need to mind your manners and just maybe listen to some of the ones that have been there and done that.
If you know the answers and don't like the advise and answers, why ask questions in the first place.

Yeah, I guess our years of experience don't mean anything...

You need to quit watching Shipping Wars.

If you'd like, I can give you another couple of sites to go ask the same question, but they won't be as nice to you as we were.

Im trying to get answers to something and all this forum wants to do is troll and play around in ppl's threads instead of giving insightful ways to make money. So yea i got upset because this seems to be where the losers of truckers end up that didn't make any money as O/O

If we're such losers, than why do you keep coming back and running your mouth?

People have given you advice, but you don't want to listen.

From another thread: [IMG] Originally Posted by wanttotruck [IMG] "I considered getting into this myself, as I live in Dallas and there are lots of guys that run cars from Dallas to Austin/San Antonio/Houston.

I've talked to several, and not one of them said the money is worth it and they're constantly breaking every HOS regulation you can think of."

And your answer, "Well they told you wrong sir." You don't even know anything about this industry, yet you know more than anyone else!

So here, I'll blow some sunshine up your butt Princess, if this will make you feel better. I netted $200,000 a year and only worked 3 days a week running from Miami to Orlando and back with a F350 and a 3 car wedge. Is that what you wanted to hear? So go ahead and buy a brand new dually for $50,000 and a new wedge for $15,000 and go haul 3 cars at $.30/ mile while paying $10,000 a year for insurance. Run that truck hard and put 100,000 miles a year on it so in 3 years, that $50,000 truck is mileaged out and is worth about $10,000 and let us know how it works out for you.

You know, Speedloader gave you advice in this thread, yet you can't seem to figure it out. http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr.../275095-ford-dual-tire-truck-car-hauling.html

If you would of read what he told you to, you'd of found out many people aren't having good luck with the Fords, maybe the new ones, but not the 6.0 and 6.4. engines.

Well, in keeping with the doom and gloom that has become this thread, EVERYTHING is choking. Everything ! Freight went bust years ago. Then specialty followed. And by that I mean Car Haul, Over Dimensional, Special Haul, etc etc ...... I have been involved with freight, decks, over size, super size, and car haul. I have been both a company man and a broker. With the price of oil, I know fluid haulers (well service) in the Canadian prairies, and the US plains that are now hurting ..... and that was probably one of the last great gigs ! Yes, oil will come back, but their rates will be slow to follow. Why ? Well it's simple economics ! In order to live, they're taking rate cuts, same as everyone else did over the past 25 years, and why in the world would the big, zillionaire, oil companies pay more when everyone will do it for less ??

So ...... if you really really really wanna make the coin ...... go back to school and become a plastic surgeon. Trucking company executives LOVE to spoil their wives and mistress'.

If you wanna stay with trucking, large or small, namely car haul, suck it up and read the free freakin advice, good or bad.

Your grandma used to say that if you didn't have anything good to say, then don't say anything at all ........ that said REAL advice comes as good AND bad !!
