We may be able to argue it but the 2nd Amendment is still my god given right in this country last time I checked!

It seems that they "screwed" the wrong man this time. And the longer I live, the more that I can relate to "work place shootings", companies that have the attitude that they can treat human beings like animals.

I'll just put it out there, and probably get flamed by some of you for stating it. But Mikec265, and Grouch your comments are not only idiotic but totally uncalled for. I worked for Marvin(Pritchett Trucking) for almost 4 years, that's their truck in my avatar, and Marvin as a man, and Pritchett as a company would go out of their way to help their guys. Did anyone read where the shooter was a 32 year, retired Pritchett employee, you don't put that many years in at a company working for a guy who might have "deserved" it, as you state MikeC265.

It sickens me sometimes to see the bad side of people, not only people who commit heinous crimes such as this, but idiots who come on message boards completely uninformed and can sit here and say that "he might have deserved it", or he "screwed" the wrong person this time.

With that said, God bless Mr. Pritchett and his sons, and the whole Pritchett family as they try to make sense of this senseless act, and think before you post sometimes. Mr. Pritchett was a grandfather and a father, David the mechanic had family, the other two victims had family as well. It wasn't too long ago that Roy, the mechanic in the shop, lost nearly all his children in a horrific bus accident in Lake Butler after being rear ended by a tractor trailer, no one knows why these things happen, but I can say with certainty that this was totally uncalled for, and I pray for everyone involved.

That's what is strange, is that the shooter worked there 32 years. Whatever beef he had should have been settled in court, not with violence.

how awful....makes ya think about things for sure. even if they (the company) HAD done something wrong....they didnt deserve to be shot down by a coward....yes a coward, someone who went to these unsuspecting unarmed (i would bet) people and shoot them down....this is just tragic and disgusting all in one. prayers for those left behind.

and for some of you with your rude uncalled for comments, well you should try inserting your brain before you open your mouth:biggrin_25510:

    *AHEM* BACK ONTO TOPIC,,,,,

I heard about it on Drudge and came right over.

Blows my mind really, 32 year company man, 77 years old. How many more years you got driving at that point?

Man should have been doing shots of Patron not shooting at his patron.

And 4 other people got shot as collateral damage? For what?

    Stupid.

I'm glad my stupid little small company only has a counter between the office and the dispatch desk.
And sadly I fear it's only a matter of time before some moron takes a performance review the wrong way and the bullet proof divider will be installed. (like it is at the bigger companies. Heck, I never even met my dispatchers at USA)

Thoughts to all the families involved.
