It's been some time, but pretty sure that question has been on every application I've ever filled out... but its been decades since I got a job by filling out an application though.

 

He is here legally..you don’t have to be a constitutional expert to figure it out.

You can ask them if they’re authorized to work in the USA. I’m guessing this is what you may be remembering..

Asking if they are a US citizen is considered discriminatory.

 

It probably asks if you can legally work in the US, not if you’re a citizen.

Up higher on the bunk it said something about a Sikh massacre. And I will admit I’m ignorant when it comes to what it was referencing.

 

Yes, thousands were killed over a couple days in anti-Sikh riots. Some estimates put the death toll up around 8,000.

 

That would be a "K" restriction.... Intrastate Only. Had one on my cdl for a short time when I wasn't using it and didn't feel the need to keep my Med Card, but didn't want my cdl to lapse.

 

I was given my skills test by a 3rd party examiner... a former DOT Officer, and let me tell you he ran me through the ringer... I passed, but he made #### sure I knew what I was doing, and didn't let me slide on anything. So there are a few good examiners out there...
