Seat belt laws are a freakin joke and only exist due to insurance company lobbyists.

If somebody wants to increase their risk of dying of in an accident, I say more power to them. One less SS check to be paid out later.

This is just one more example of an over reaching government establishing control of a persons personal choices.

How many of you that support the seatbelt laws are also going to support the new laws banning salt/sugar/tobacco etc... cuz it's for your own good?

good luck to you bubba...many companies OUTSIDE the trucking industry wouldn't hire you with this kind of record because it has the odor of....

    IRRESPONSIBILITY.....

not trying to be mean, but....................i wouldn't hire a person with this kind of record to work in a factory.....

maturity goes a looooonnnnggg way in getting hired....:biggrin_25525:

What if your driving up the interstate hauling a 67 lemans on the top rack and a cop pulls you over to ask how much you want for it? Is that considered drawing attn to yourself? Just wondering but don't ask how I know that would happen. :biggrin_2556:

there IS a difference......in one, you are DOING your job......

in another you are doing something maybe suspicious.

why is it then that i often see young guys, in the HOT summer, driving at night, wearing "hoodies" and covering up thier heads....??? does THAT make any sense...??

how does a "young guy" get an Escalade, or BMW or Mercedes, or what ever HIGH dollar car, jack it up with fancy HIGH dollar wheels and tires, all chromed out.......NOT draw attention from the cops....???

if you're young, drive a "fancy car" (like the o/p) and you run a light (like he did), the cops GOT EVERY RIGHT to pull him over and go thru his crap......under "suspicion" it's all 100 % legal, in ALL 50 US States....

and he ain't wearing his seat belt....."click it or ticket"......it's in ALL US States......!! he GOT a few seat belt tickets and he's crying a river of crocodile tears because he was "picked on".........

i wanna see him get "picked on" at the scales when THEY find things wrong with him, his log, his truck, his paperwork........whatever......

So not only do you not wear a seat belt and disregard traffic signals you also think it's OK to operate a truck without the proper license. Your excuse.... the "man" is out to get you. Like I stated before , you lack the maturity to operate a 80,000 pound vehicle safely.

You seem a little quick to "yell" and defend your spoiled self against the comments here YOU ASKED for. On another note, noting your disregard for safety, if you ever do end up driving a tractor-trailer, don't be behind me or my family. Please.

Umm the last time i checked I had a c.d.l. permit class A. My friend has his c.d.l. license, so I can drive as long as he is in the truck which he has been at all times.
