Haha, so now I'm trolling my own thread. Great.

If you actually read my post, I said can you guys suggest any other options for me to take where I can start making good money with a good company to work for. I have not drove in 4 years so, yes I am rusty. I am sure it will take a few days or so to get me back in the groove of driving.

I just want suggestions on what are some companies I can look into, to get back into trucking. There are tons of crappy companies besides England, such as Swift, CRST, and all the other trucking companies that pump out students all day long to replace the students that are about to leave.

Thus, I'm trying to find a good company to work for, where I can get a quick refresher, then get my own truck and haul ###.

Sadly, the trolls in this thread are all those people that are in awe that I made $120K a year contracting for England. For all those people, I say learn your craft better. There are people that make way more than $120K for England and all these other crappy companies out there. I'm just telling my experience with them years ago. Take it however you want.

You want to hear something even more unbelievable, I made over $100K in 2 months back in Aug-Oct 2013 doing Diapers.com referrals. That was the quickest 100K I have ever made. They discontinued their program in my state, and my referral business came to a halt. Instantly, making $1500-$2000 a day just stopped.

So if we can get back to the point of this thread, maybe you guys can make suggestions to qualities companies that might be a great fit for me and help me get back on my feet. There will always be haters and naysayers, but just because you can't replicate my success doesn't mean I never did it. Just means I did something you didn't do. Should I discredit Mark Zuckerberg for making billions, saying its BS, and show me or it didn't happen? No, so if you don't like my thread, or can not make a helpful contribution to it, step off please.

I have no time for negative people. I suggest to you guys read some The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale, it might change how you look at your life. It did for me.

Now I am just trying to get back on my feet so I can move into the tech industry and do something I am passionate about.

I want to find the right company so I don't make the mistake like so many other people here and waste 3-6 months making no money, then starting a thread how I hate that company.

If you can contribute and make some solid suggestions, then thank you. That's all I am asking for. Good places where I can make solid money.

So please, lets get back to the heart of this thread, which is what I should do or places I can go to get back on my feet, as I have not drove in over 4 years.

See if Schnieder will bring you on board. They let company drivers lease trucks after 6 months. They pick there own loads off the load board. They are paid percentage. Some even claim to be making big bucks, but it seems like you have to watch which region you go into. The west coast isn't the best market, but I'm sure a baller like you can do what it do, and make big money to keep these haters hating.

Funny you mention them, I have been reading up everything I can about them these past 3-4 hours and they actually look pretty solid. They also have a training center in Charlotte, and I'm here in Fayetteville, plus they provide, room board, and food. Gonna keep reading up more about them, but seems pretty good so far.

I believe you my trainer at cr England made 5k a week I saw the check stubs to make that kind of money you need to be a trainer again, head to the oilfields or transport drugs I discourage the last option.

fleasing a truck at $0.90 a mile to pull a reefer

The only to make it at that rate is to milk your "trainee" for miles which it appears you did.

If you all read what he did, his rate per mile and his miles that's pretty much how it went down.

Can't say I ever made 5k, my biggest check was about $4300, but that was because I had a tripak from florida to washington run that I scanned into my next week.

Your trainer might have owned his truck as well. I was just a lease operator. 5K a week would have been much easier to accomplish as a OO

When I trained 2 students, there was no need to milk anybody, they actually ran less miles each, than if I only had 1 student on the truck. That was one of the reason why I always ran two students, it eased the burden of just running one student, and also trying to get in the miles.
