I can't help it this thread is too funny. It will go down in history along with the Werner trainer who crapped himself
LGarrison, Blackshack46 and freightwipper Thank this. -
Well you had 1 super trucker and 2 to 3 diesel dummies rolling down the road non stop, Jerry Springer special
Blackshack46 and HorseShoe Thank this. -
Last I heard Chad England was personally driving the OP to the bank to cash his $30,000 pay check.
HorseShoe Thanks this. -
So your saying you averaged 6700 miles a week ?? Did you fly an airplane for CR England ?
freightwipper and HorseShoe Thank this. -

I'm not gonna call anyone a liar but I feel like your trying to insult our intelligence.

Thread was entertaining. I'm going to put my two cents in without trying to examine the truth or fiction of what has been stated on the off chance you actually need help.
You are not going to break 120k solo outside of specialized hauling. You know that.
You could make 60k a year at any mega if you're willing to stay out.
You could make 60k a year with more home time hauling fuel.
You could make 80k+ a year doing food service (might be your best bet, since you don't want to stay long enough to earn senority).
My little brother makes 270k a year hauling oversize. He's on a gig hauling concrete girders. His own truck (he said he had 39k$ invested in it, not that much money. Something to consider as an option down the road to increase your revenue. He has to pay a lot of out of pocket expenses tho. Hotels, pilot cars, permits, etcetera.)
I drive for a Mega. I am going to gross about 58k.
I also sell custom fabricated pc cases, sleeved pcie cables, custom bent watercooling tubing. I will net around 20k on these items if last year is a good model (and so far it has been). I do most of this in my truck, ship out cables and tubing from the drop boxes at truck stops. I pick up ressuply at my mail drop in Dallas every few weeks since I run thru there a lot. The pc cases require me to be home but I can draft them in auto cad in my truck (very beefy laptop). And set my 3d printer running some of the cable clips then do the steel and acrylic on my hometime.
In addition I own and rent some mobile homes out. I will be profiting about 20k a year from this after they pay themselves off(17 months) as of now the profits are meager. A lady administrates the homes for me in return for a small salary and a trailer to live in.
I have also recently decided I will start a hydro dip/powder coating business (yet another sideline) and hope to increase my yearly margin by about 10k a year. This will also be a sporadic income though a disability drawing friend of mine will do the work and we will split the profits. I already own the equipment.
With my various incomes I will bring in close to 110k a year. Though I may expand my mobile home idea significantly if it continues to return such nice profit.
So to answer your question, put your money to work for you. Start something that interests you and you can increase your margin.Pacific Islander Thanks this.
