    I was in the Navy. Saw the SEALS running on the beach in Coronada, CA carrying what looked like a section of telephone pole. I thought, I'm pretty gungho, but not that much, the SEALS can stuff it. Actually, I wasn't gungho at all but put up a front to CYA around the khaki's. Back then a hashmark E-3 was respected!

    Ya, those F-in Seals walked around our ship with a full beard! I walked around on deployment with a 5-oclock shadow, but have to have a no-shave chiit. That must have been a long time ago, because when I was in, an E-3 was an E-nothing. Actually, on my ship E-1 through E-5 are all same rank. The only time I ever seen someone pull rank, was an marine E-3 on my ship told another E-2 marine to be be quiet, while I was discussing his payroll with him. And the E-2 sure enough shut up on the spot. I was amazed. That's when I realized marines actually respect the higher rank, no matter how low on the pole you are. I have never since seen someone pull rank like that E-3 did that day.

    So CR England is a military front for Special Operations?? I knew it!!!!!! I always doubted those guys at the buffet claiming they were special forces
