He is probably actually a ROK Marine and is told to say all this to throw is off. Sneaky ####### you are PI.

Gotta do more than just take what the media puts out during your life time. They are all amazing people and too bad our schools do not teach ALL of the history of our great country. You have to do it on your own.

As for you looking for a job, you better decide what you want to be if you grow up. Do you want to be a dad or do you want to chase the green paper. Yep, I still use cash... LOL

If you want to be a dad then look into trash hauling, dump trucks, propane trucks, fuel delivery etc. I will warn you that local jobs involve getting out of the seat once in a while. Don't be one of these wimps that are afraid to get their hands dirty. You will sleep well at night after a good honest days work.

I was going to post something about Hayha but you beat me to it. He was number one, but Ivan Sidorenko came in second with Fyodor Okhlopkov coming in Third. You would think the Germans would have had someone to come close but nope. The one thing that really gets me is Kyle may have been our sort of best (that's disputed) but the Brits have someone who had confirmed 173 kills.

My company doesn't pay anywhere near what England pays. I don't even think my boss makes that much.

I'm gonna try to be the best father I can be while OTR, even though I know it's gonna be hard, but its something I have to do. It's very sad when a mother uses the child as a weapon to hurt the father. That's where I am at right now. I just want to save up money, possibly buy a house outright, and never have to worry about a place ever again, then move forward with my life, my kids, and my goals.

I figure the sacrifice out on the road a few more years will be worth it. I also plan to just live in the truck for these next 2 years, in order to save as much as I can, and build my other businesses while on the road.

I just don't want to do 10-15 years, only to then realize I missed my kids growing up, as that's an even harder pill to swallow. I am sure there are many drivers that this happens too. I figure while my son's are 6 and 2, that gives me some time to sacrifice, and hopefully make the future better for them and myself.

First, this thread is full of BS.

Second, IT and Website developers are two entirely different subjects.

Third, a web developer, a web designer, and database engineer are entirely different expertise sets. And colleges are spitting kids out every year that know all three.

So, Fourth, do yourself a favor and avoid programming.

    But, there is hope....

    Fifth, Cyber Security.
This is where you can make money.
    One word: Cisco.

When I started out I was gone for 12 months straight no hometime. At the end of the 12th month I got home just in time for my baby to be born. It was definitely worth it. So happy to be a father

I second this. Only about 15 out of 300+ posts actually pertain to the reason why I created this thread in the first place. The rest, trucker monger! C'est la vie.

I hope your significant other was on the road with you at some point in those 12 months...you might want a dna test otherwise. :)
