Thats what I'm wondering......the pay scale has probably dramatically increased since he was there before. He could prolly do at least a quarter million a year now.

I'm still looking at all my options. There are so many different companies that I called up yesterday, and everybody said they wanted to hire me. But I just want to make sure I choose a right fit, as I know many companies make hustle students and CDL holders through there program only for the government incentives.

As for when I was a trainer, I trained. When students got off my truck, they knew exactly what to do and how to do it. I taught them the job, how to drive, and insight on what to expect.

My rule of thumb I used before I signed off on their paperwork was "Would I be comfortable with them driving next to my family".

Plus they needed to complete everything required of them. No one ever left my truck not knowing how to drive or not knowing the job.

That said, there were two people that I couldn't sign of on. The CRE training coordinators/higher ups were jarred. I told them I tried my best, but I won't be passing them, of course CRE just put them on another's trainer truck, for them to get more training and eventually get signed off.

Another thing, I'm not sure why most people here doubt what I'm saying about how much I made. But I will say that just about everyone that was with me when I got my CDL (50 people or so), only 2 other people stayed with CRE like I did. After a year, one of the guys got a crappy DM, and his miles fell big time. He quit and went to Werner, and tried to talk me into coming with him.

The worse thing I had happen was when the gave me a new DM as well. Within two weeks my miles fell to like 4500, so I requested a load back to SLC. I went and had a nice long chat with my new DM, and told him what I needed. I also had to get Bob, the DM manager involved and he gave my DM 1 week to get my miles up, or I would get another DM. Magically, I started pushing high 6000+ miles every week after that. That was after having my first DM for 2 years. Yes, it sucks when you get a subpar, or crappy DM. That's the # 1 I had many friends quit England.

As for calling me a recruiter, that an amazing form of flattery.

This is the funniest thing in that anyone would even remotely believe this thread. Trolling at it's finest. Not not running as a double team..........................but a triple team during training! Hilarious. I wonder how many wannabe's have grabbed the phone trying to get in touch with CRE recruiting to join up?

Guys, I'm just trying to find a good, solid company to go to, that's going to pay very well.

Getting attacked/trolled for saying I made $120K? Every person only makes as much as there worth. Earl Nightingale.

I would really like more recommendations to more established companies, where I know I can make solid pay if I really hustled while out in the road. I also value my time much more, and currently taking about 4 online classes right now, so really looking for a solo outfit, where I can do my loads, then study and do my class work on my downtime.

When I was with CRE, the pay was great, but I don't feel like training, because like I said, I value my time much more, and I want to save up while on the road, and learn to program and code.

I have more loftier goals I want to achieve.

Life is all about peaks and valleys, and right now I'm in a valley, trying to find the right company to go for, and work my way back to the peak. I don't want to be out on the road no more than a few years at most. Once I get my footing, I plan on moving to Tech Startup Valhalla, and making a shift to the tech industry.

I also figured it would be great for me to work on the websites I just started, and create solid content for them while I'm out on the road in my downtime.

Armellini Express runs 3 drivers and sometimes 4 in one truck. I'm serious; call them. The company has an excellent reputation too.

If you could please take your valuable time and go drive for swift, prime or Werner andmake the same with proof I'll believe your crock of #### story. If you could provide the slightest bit of proof to your success, most of us might take you seriously and actually give you valuable info. But your coming in here making an ### out of yourself saying you made x amount of money driving for a training company when 99.9% of us know for a fact you did no such task. So take your BS elsewhere unless you have proof. Hell even if you you said you made 75k a year it would be 100% more believable than the cow#### you are trying to feed us. None of us were born yesterday and most of us have been around the block running these roads for a lot longer than you have been writing fiction stories. So try again.

They may run 3-4 but are they training them at the same time. Papa johns runs 2-3 driver teams for 70+ hour routes. That's not the unbelievable part. It's the training as well. The trainer is supposed to be on duty while the trainee is driving. So if the trainee drives his or her 11 hr then the trainer is also in the hole 11 and needs a break. There's a reason training trucks are parked when teaming. It's because they don't have hours.
