    It sounds like your employer is being lazy. It also seems that they're very serious about it; probably because they've been down that road before with past and current employees. Rules are rules if you gone be there you'll need to adhere to em. Politely ask to see the policy and avoid making the mistake; If you want to keep the gig.

    I looked in to a company (in California) as a local driver. They wanted me to take a break at 4 hours, because of California labor law, then at 8 hours because of D.O.T.
    They pay scale was designed to be confusing. Low hourly pay, plus low stop pay, plus a crazy sliding scale mileage pay. 0-5 miles, so much money. 6-10 miles, so much money. What a nightmare all together.
