Finally, in Indianapolis, I would recommend Schneider. Personally, I'd call them and ask for recommendations for schools and find out what they're looking for. They'll help you along.

OTR is a meat grinder. You'll be better off if you could do some local work to build up your skill set and then go OTR if you want to see the country. That will also keep you away from the starter companies, which are generally the worst about micromanaging.
