300% modulation

Even though it's completely useless it is technically possible on AM to modulated carrier at 300% without any harmonics and here is proof. This was done simply to prove it could be done and for no other reason.

 

To prove he is more technically proficient than the manufacturer of this device as well as the guy who made this video and no other reason.

The guy is a broadcast engineer for a radio station in California but his signal would be much more efficient with a larger carrier but he tries to carry over his expertise from commercial broadcasting and apply the same technical stuff to CB radio. He sounds better than most people on channel 6 but all that bass is robbing his station of efficiency. Channel 6 is all about taking things to extremes. His station would be much more efficient if it was tuned properly and I guess that's the point Mark Sherman was trying to make.
