$30K Markup On F-150 Lightning Electric Pickup Truck

I wonder if these car companies will continue to sell a diesel (Cummins, Duramax, Power something something) truck after they go all (ish) electric? Maybe at the least in a Cab & chassis or 4500 / 5500 truck?

That's my new plan. Buy beaters, flog them for a year or 2 and then buy another ####box. Rinse and repeat.

 

I don’t know how they are phasing out gas engines. We STILL don’t have the infrastructure for this. And we won’t in the next few years. I don’t understand or care enough to look it up. I will continue to LOVE and use fossil fuels until I can’t. At that point I still won’t have an electric vehicle.

 

No sale within a year would be a dealbreaker for me regardless. If its mine I'll do whatever I #### well please with it.

 

There is an abundance of coal, oil, and natural gas in the US. If we are not going to go all out with nuclear plants, why don't they work on perfecting the removal of noxious gases from the plant exhaust? Yes, they have done some of this, but there is so much more that can be done before we abandon the sources of energy we have on hand.
Use it while it's there. Or, do we cover the US in windmills and solar panels?

 

When you get get laid off and can’t afford the payments will they make the payments for you so you don’t hurt your credit? I find it hard to believe they can keep you from selling something that’s yours. I think any “Decent Lawyer” (those words definitely do not go together) could get past this.
