Hey fella's, I'm working on a project and looking to see if there is a factory built truck with a 34.5" frame width? Mine was originally 34, but someone double framed it to be a wrecker. I've since sold the wrecker dody n want to put a 5th wheel back on, but I've got this extra 1/2" of width to deal with. All I can see so far is Western Star had a 34" frame along with Marmon (my project) but nothing wider.

Have you actually put the fifth wheel mount on the frame to see what if any problems it shows?

Is this a 1 piece assembly or does it mount to a T-rail/angle iron bracket that bolts to the frame? Shouldn't be a big deal to widen it out a little bit.
