Go home each weekend. Hours may reset, but my work doesn't end. Happens when you have a small farm and all the stuff that needs done when you get out of the truck. I haven't spent a weekend out away from home since '99 and don't understand why I did before that.

    LOL keep 'em coming...

I hadn't thought of passing some time with dumping out the pee jug. I'm going to practice tomorrow in my driveway until I get good at it...

When I was a new driver, and didn't have a laptop and was only home every 3-4 weeks, I'd take out my atlas, lay in bed, and memorize the map, look at populations of cities, look at the inset maps of the larger cities, etc. I love maps and always have since I was 5yo. My mom got me this wood puzzle, where every state was a piece of the puzzle, and they all had the capital city on them. I knew all the states and their capitals by that age.

I also used to watch The Weather Channel while real young, and would watch as they posted the cities and their current temps. I didn't know how to pronounce Houston (huss-tin) and Phoenix (phone-ix) :-D

I would also read a lot of books on my down time.

Now that I have the internet/laptop, I usually get on here at night. I get to spend 40hours at home on the weekends now.

That's funny. I'm the same way with maps and atlases. I'm an unabashed geography nerd. I think I remember having a similar wood puzzle of the US when I was younger also. Each state had little wooden pegs sticking out to more easily put the states in their place. At least the one I remember.

If you ever swing up to Seattle there is a place on 1st Ave right near Pike Place Market called Metsker Maps. Awesome place and have never seen another like it. Go if you get the chance.

This is very good advice. Try and dump it so that when your neighbor comes out of his house, he'll step right in it. 5 bonus points if you can throw a bag of garbage and have it land within 3 ft of his trash can. 10 if you can do that and make all the garbage come out of the bag and scatter on the ground.

Exactly. After dumping it in my own driveway a few times I realized that this would be much better practiced at the neighbors place. Plus I can be more efficient and just practice as my dogs poop in their yard. Kill two birds...
