34 hour reset weekly meaning for home time?

To a TOR driver. It means. Your regular 10 hour break. And 24 hours more. Where ever your at. Usually at a shipper who didn't care about unloading you. And make you wait anyway

 

34 hour seems like just a night off. I get home and off around noon then the next day I leave at 10pm. That’s not even a day off really but hours wise it is.

 

34 hours is just that, a full day and 12 hrs. It's logged off and out. if your out of hours , that's it . 34 reset and start again. If your lucky you get to do it at home, if your not then plan on doing it .( hotel, parkiing, eating , etc.)

 

I do!!!! I haven't had a reset in what is about to be 3 weeks by the time I get home next weekend. Picking up or running loads on the weekend can stop you from getting a 34. I don't like to get 34s during the business week.

 

I hate 34's because I never know where I might end up.
Also, I am too lazy to want to run that hard in that time period. I like averaging my hours so I can run recap for indefinite periods.

It usually is easy to plan my loads in a way that doesn't eat up my 70 before I have recap hours coming back in.
