How many hours of service can you do per day so as not to have to do a 34 hour restart all the time?

8.75 per day, but it will depend on the loads and scheduling if you can do it.

in theory if you do 8.75 hours every day you"ll never run out of hours, but that will never work with getting loads there on time.

You can run more hours if you run your 70 out asap and then doing a 34 and running again....

How's that working out for you. Have you ever had to log on paper? I'm curious as to how it compares.

Use to be on paper logs until I got a new truck. I am still up in the air about e-logs. So far I haven't missed a deadline for a load so no complaints.

if you run on the 70 hour clock, that is 10 hours on duty each day. (7 days x 10 hours) keep it at ten a day and you will always be getting 10 back on the next calendar day.

so yes it is possible to run for weeks on end as long as you keep it to the ten only combo of lines 3 and 4.
