Kick back and be happy you have a reset. Back in the old days, it sucked to be out of hours and only pick up 3 the next day, then 6 the next because you ran hard for 5 days straight last week. It made you want to throw the book out the window, show 7 days off duty right before you picked up and keep on trucking. Of course, that is what the old timers told me, no personal experience in that regard.

Heck I'm already a Master Debater. I Master Debate more after 4 years of marriage than I did as a kid when I discovered it.:biggrin_25524:

Yep exactly what a lot of guys did. You never run out of hours with 3 logbooks!

what we did was keep several funny books and several licenses...i at one time had 3 different licenses 2 from the west coast and 1 from the midwest...to make money back then you had to run several funny books because just as stated you only would gain so many hours if you ran hard...a rule of thumb use to be log only 9 hrs a day and you would never run out of hours on a 7 day 70 hr work week..lot has changed and ill admit i do run outlaw at time but its hard to do with companies going to e logs..thats why us old guys would always run loose leaf logs..and always had a book of maifests too...:biggrin_2553:
