    My experience with 8785's was not good. Cat Reman JUNK. At 50k miles all 6 were popping under 2200. 4 of the 6 even failed Cat warranty test. Bought a set of 7w7031's which is the number for the new version of an 8785 reman. Night and day difference
    I have 16.4 (iirc) aluminum pistons and or6051 dinosaur Cat turbo and yes it is a little smokey but when you put a load on it and turn it into the wind it will scoot right along and flat burn some fuel too. I watch gauges pretty close and really never have much of a problem with egt's when loaded. More like empty going home in a crosswind (bullrack) That I have to watch and not lug it. Anyways, my point is get new nozzles, not Cat Reman. I use to think that was just their mechanical nozzles but I think I am having issues with Reman 57's in a single out Acert.
