    Quicker spool up for one, but I did some searching and BW doesn't show a cross for that part number, but the other 460hp turbo crosses to a 199119 so that should be your direct replacement.

    Is the part number on the tag of my broke turbo a obsolete number because most of the places I called can't even cross reference it. Tag number is 6I-3172.

    There are certain numbers that don't cross, it is a result of CAT using so many different part numbers.

    If you are doubting the turbo number I gave you then your on your own.

    Should be around $900 maybe a little more. Lookup superior turbo in Detroit Michigan, they have some of the best prices I have seen.

    Called superior talked to them they had turbo for 995 for the BW but shipping was 2 days. He gave me a name for a place in brookfield wi Fuel systems inc had the 199119 which crosses to new part number 178063 for 1022 but will be here tomorrow. Thanks for the info smokin cat.
