    I used to reflash to cinvert industrial engine ECM for road use. Usually Industrial ore Agricultural ECM does not support J1587 and you cant use RP1210 adapter. To reprogram you need genue Cat adapter.

    If it is 3406B - may be there is some injection pump difference.

    Blocks are differant also. Oil pans are not as Deep on the Industrial since they are normally set up for Dry Sump oiling sorry learned that when CAT almost hired me to be a QC tech for them after my driving career ended however when I told them that I would like to work on the Max HP with minimal Emissions settings they balked.
