Just curious I never thought it would be broken rubber piece since they have always said if it’s broke it will smoke allot and this truck never blows smoke like that

@wore out will correct me if I'm wrong, but if you have a hole in the air to fuel ratio diaphragm then you should not be getting full fuel, as boost pressure pushes against diaphragm to allow more fuel. Some people disable the air to fuel ratio, and they would have to control all under the foot and could get a lot of smoke.

I believe that if you have a couple of threads showing on the adjustment screw you will be close. This is something that you can play with and adjust according to taste. There is a 7/16ths lock nut on the adjustment screw, and a slotted head to use a flat screwdriver to adjust. As I recall, you back that screw out for fuel sooner (more smoke) and in for less. If you go too far in you will not hardly be able to get enough RPMs to grab another gear.

You must be careful to get the head of the pin on the afr correctly installed. It needs to drop in to a slot as I recall. I have only installed one, but I think I am steering you correctly. As said, @wore out will correct me if I'm wrong.

    wore out Thanks this.
