I'm finishing assembly of front section on my 3406b after reseal. When I put the acc cover on the plate, I thought I had the compressor spacer in properly but when trying to mount compressor (after the fact) found that the spacer was not all the way into the plate. I could feel about a .030" ledge keeping it from going in completely. I went ahead and used the compressor and it's bolts to attempt to draw the spacer into place after loosening all the external bolts on the acc drive cover (3 inside studs still torqued). It worked as planned and the spacer did pull into position, however the gear lash on the compressor gear is very minimal. You have to look very intently to see the compressor gear move a tiny bit before it moves the idler gear. I'm not really able to get a solid answer so far as to whether this amount of lash will be ok. Any thoughts?
