I’d go to O’Reillys or Napa but I’m not convinced that they have(or would know what they have) a three position switch that’s, off, low and high(low&high). My truck wasn’t originally a jake equipped truck, as the hole the switch is in, was originally the either start. Truck originally had a 7FB 3406B. When I called Pete they asked for VIN, and I told them the scenario and they said, “well, we got a 4 terminal that might work”. $45. The four terminal they described has two terminals bridged together.

My wiring is intact, but I have no 3/6 switch as the former owner used that spot for the lift axle, so I just have them both going to a four pole Pete switch with power source to the top two poles, and the Jake wires on the bottom two. I would probably not use just one stage much anyway.

Is there any way I can solder both jake wires together and make one wire with a spade, that plugs on the back of the switch? If so I can just use an “on/off” switch. Or make a jumper wire from one spade terminal at one jake housing to the other? I’m like you guys, prolly use all 6 or nothing.

That's essentially what I did.
