3406B turbo is not whining and turbo gauge doesn’t move at all please help

    Hi guys,
    good morning! I have an old cat engine in my Freightliner 1991, Can I please ask you to help me with my truck I don’t see my turbo gauge moving and I hear a weird noise, it just started now and the truck still going even loaded but I know this noise is not normal I never had it in my truck before, plus I don’t see any smoke coming out of the exhaust!
    What can I start checking ? I check the hoses and seems all connected

    Please before it goes and I can not move the truck can you take a look at it??

    Where the gauge hooks up at the engine could be plugged with soot, it happened on my 97 3406E. Unscrew the fitting and clean it out with brake or carb cleaner.

    Check the hoses for the charge air cooler.
