    Is that a typo or did they really make those in 99 with only 355 saw a real nice price on a century will only 700k on engine if it hasn,t rolled over ....,but only 355 hp is it only ecm settingto turn that up or is it a whole lotta headache

    I know back in '88 -'90 they were 310 hp and in the early to mid 90's they were 310 hp, not sure on how to get the hp up on those, but even the 310's did a pretty good job back in the day.......

    Best thing to do is get the engine serial number and call cat. If you getthe last six of the vin freightliner can give you the serial number

    Yes, they did make them with that HP rating. To turn it up to 550HP you will need to change many hard parts. Probably needs pistons to go that high.

    I know nothing about cats but if i stay outa the mountainshow will that 350 do with a direct transmission
