I have 1999 3406E 1LW. Just did platinum in frame overhaul. To make it nice i installed new valve covers. One of them is 6NZ valve cover and breather tube. Now, what should i do with my original setup that have breather on side of the block. I can plug it up BUT there is sensor on breather box, i think its crankcase pressure sensor, cat cals it Sensor GP pressure. I have that sensor on KR ScanGauge and measure 14.5-14.9
So if i plug breather box will it screw up reading for this sensor ???

I do believe there is a block off kit for that. I was not aware that there was a pressure sensor for that on the older cats. I'm no expert. Hopefully someone else comes along to answer.
Try searching it here. I know it's been talked aboutSlow302 Thanks this. -
The 1lw I had started blowing oil out of factory vent port on side of block at a very rapid rate. Top 3406 mechanic at cat dealership truck engine shop instructed me to buy valve cover with vent tube and plug original hole with cap the appropriate size with rubber plug that expands as you tighten it. Ran it several years after that with no issues and no other needed alterations.
