when you go to remove the starter bolts get ready. i have had some come right out and i have had some a 3/4 inch impact would not touch. torch the bolt heads off. you can lower the starter down, no jack needed. the bolts will turn out by hand after you remove it this way, no kidding.

Cat make a great tool for undoing that hard to get to bolt, its a little expensive to buy for one use only but if you know someone at a Cat shop they may lend it to you, the part number is 6V4058.
