there has been alot of issues with reman injectors. they seam fine in a cutout test. but are not. i went through this with this 2ws i installed. dynoed it did cut out test after cut out test. the boy that i bought this engine from has a mechanic that has his own version of a cut out test where we had it running on 1 cylinder at 2000rpm and showed the fuel flow of the injector during the test not the average at the end like cat's does. found the culprit and been ok since. the clutch, the only one i know of that balances every pc indivdualy is a lipe. not as a whole unit.
3406E vibration and very slight mis at higher rpm

underpsi Thanks this.

Thanks, I loosened and spun the clutch a half turn on the flywheel. My vibration is considerably less now but still there yet. Got the new damper and hoping that will take the rest of it away. Engine is running great otherwise. Anybody think the injector trim codes are worth switching for alittle more hp?

Has anyone heard of the 2WS serial#'s breaking a crank? Im curious. Also what would be the main things to for in an oil sample with these engines? Thanks

Good deal. Fyi the vibration is completely gone now after loosening and spinning pressure plate 180 degrees and replacing engine damper.

Can anyone tell me if its normal for my fuel pressure gauge to drop down to 0psi after i shut truck off? It bounces alot also when running. Its running 78psi idle and about 83psi at 1600. But the gauge needle bounces like crazy. Just curious because i had a fuel line go bad and created miss and low power this week. I changed the line and eliminated shutoff valves. Truck has the original primer pump and return check valve.
