Work 60/7.
Week of 1/20/14 went over hours - 60.25. The .25 was done doing yard work.
Had 34hrs off including two 1-5am rests.
Can I restart my week at fresh 60/7?
34hour restart understanding

You are all good with going over hours as long as you do not drive beyond the 60th hour. You could rebuild an engine, call it all on duty, claim 100 hours in a week and you'd be cool, so long as you didn't drive.
Yes your restart is good as long as you didn't have one within the last week.
Simple, isn't it?

The thing went so fast I didn't know WHAT was being said or going on. Weirdest thing I ever saw.
Now; as to the OP...if you clock in and out at the same location daily (which most do in 60/7 short haul), you are given one 16 hour day to use if need be. -

From the time your last reset BEGAN, go forward 168 hours (7 days). If your last reset started at 1700 hrs on Friday, the next Friday at 1700 (or later) you can begin your 34 restart.CondoCruiser Thanks this. -
The other note here Hours of Service only limit your driving hours to a max of 60/70/ 11 out of 14. You can work as many as you like without being in violation.
Worked hour still count against the 60/70/14 hour rules, i just counts against you available drive time. -
Otter said it well. You need a full 168 hours between resets. If you are off Friday afternoon and don't return work until Monday morning there is no reason this can't be easily accomplished. Even if you don't do a reset you will gain a couple days back and still good to go working similar hours daily as your recap rolls.
