379 grill surround with lights on a 377?

Hi all. My 94' 377 needs a new grill surround. I believe the 379 part is the same(?), but with holes punched for the light pedestals. I would like to put the 379 surround with lights on the 377.

Has anyone done this or seen it done? If so, how did it look with reguards to light placement above the stock headlights? I think I can remove the stock lights and have ss covers made easily enough if the looks are too bad.
