379 Pete, 475 isx cummins - Fumes in cab, bad idle

    I have a 07 379 Pete with a 475 isx cummins the engine is ok but I have a fuel problem getting fumes in the cab when shut off and hard to start after turning engine off.Also when idling it starts spitting and jumping and missing like its catching air.Can anyone say what the problem is

    If I had to take a guess I'd say your electric lift pump is leaking either from the gaskets or has a hole in the bottom of it.
    Or you have some other fuel leak.
