I have finally located the Gremlin that was causing my interior lights to blow fuses. I have owned my 2014 386 for 18 months now. It would always blow a fuse about every other day. I had the truck in the shop about two weeks ago and I had them to hook up the computer to it to check out some reoccurring fault codes. While talking to the tech I told him about the reoccurring blown fuses. So he logged into the CECU and looked around but didn’t find anything out of the ordinary. Then he pulled up a screen where you could enable/disabled different things the CECU controlled. I ask him to disable the dimming effect on the lights so that when you closed the door they would go out instantly instead of fad out. Since then I haven’t blown one fuse. I had given up because I had traced every wire in the cab to no avail.
This worked for me and hope it sheds some light to someone else who’s had this problem.
