Was I ripped? They changed air, fuel, oil and a/c filters, all fittings greased, topped off all cases and charged me $388.31 for a PM. Oh yeah, 3.38 hours of labor @ $55.00 an hour.
Good thing they only charged me 8.99 a gallon for the Exxon/Mobil Semi Syn.
$388.31 Level C Pm????? Wtf???

You got ripped big-time. If I were an O/O, I'd drop by that self-service place by the Flying-J on the west side of Indianapolis and do all this myself when it needed to be done. Well, actually.......it HAS been a while. That place may have closed down since 2002, the last year I drove through there in 18.
You know the place I'm talking about, right? -

Shoot, looks like NO discount to me, LOL. These companies are something else.

Well the labor rate was cheap The going rate around here is $75.00
As to the servicing on the truck it depends on how much oil they had to use to top off the cases, how many air filters you have, air filters run between $45.00 and $100 bucks at the parts store depending on type and brand. That was a decent price on the oil.
It sounds high, but then we don't have all the facts

Seems just a tad high, but not by a whole lot. Did that include sales tax on the parts and oil?

If you go to Speedco for your service it can cost you around $200 if you use fleetguard filters.
Add in your air filter thats an easy $50 by itself if not more, and the AC work. I doubt you got screwed. -
This is why I'd NEVER be an O/O unless I could afford my truck on my OWN lease and do most of the mediocre stuff (change oil, filters, grease, etc) myself. It'd just way too expensive to pay someone to do everything.
