2012 pete 389 lost headlights(POD style) and turn signals today. Rear of truck signals work, but is giving slight feed to opposite turn light. When hooked to a trailer, signal will work but flashes the clearance lights. any onw have any suggestions whre to start? Ground problem? Wiring harness? acc. switch bad?

Sorry so late with a reply.:biggrin_25518:

Only 44K on truck, so no rigged crap. I ran out of options I knew to check, had to bring it to dealership. They claim it was a broken ground wire on a connector near front motor mount. claim it had gotten "hot".

FYI: I know of 2 other units locally that have had the same problem, both were repaired at a Pete dealership, 1 with a "rigged" ground wire, the other with a replaced connector in the same location they told me.

And yes, the headlights and front turn signals didn't work at all-plugged up or not- to the trailer. I disconnected the trialer, same results on truck, I hooked one of our other units to the trailer just to check, all lights operated fine on the truck and the trailer.
